Besides teaching and performing, I enjoy a wide variety of work within the music industry.
I love to record, both remotely and in person. I also love to collaborate on piano with songwriters and producers alike. There’s a unique thrill in finding the right melody or chord progression for a track or for a great set of lyrics.
I also enjoy transcribing music by ear and assembling neat, accurate printed music for bandleaders, vocalists, songwriters, and other musicians and artists. An accurate lead sheet or arrangement can tighten things up on the bandstand and allow for faster, easier rehearsals with subs or new band members.
